Hi, my name is Maximillian and I'm a business development consultant. Today we're going to break down how much money you want to make this year and strategize ways for you to get it.
Step #1 - Get Your Income Calculator
First thing you need to do is click here to view my free online income calculator. When you click the link, a Google Sheet will open. In order for you to edit the calculator, and punch in your own numbers, you have to a make a copy. Click File > Make a Copy.
Directly below is a screenshot of the Income Calculator, available as a Google Sheets template.
Step #2 - Calculate Your Annual Income Goals
Once you have your own copy of the calculator, enter your annual income goal in the yellow Goal field. For example, I’ve entered in $104,000. The rest of the calculator will then automatically update to show you exactly how much money you’d need to make each month, week and day of the year in order to reach your annual goal.
In this case, we’d need to make over $8,000 a month to reach this annual goal. That’s $2,000 a week and $285 a day.
Step #3 - Break Down Your Goals
The Quantity and Price columns help you to break down your timeline goals even further. Let’s examine the week section. To meet my weekly goal of $2,000, we have a few options:
we can sell 1 product-offer for $2,000
or we can sell 2 product-offers for $1,000 each
or we can 4 product-offers for $500 each
And we can break it down as much as we’d like.
Step #4 - Productize Your Goals
Now that we can visualize the complete breakdown, all the way down to $285 per day, next we have to list different ways for us to make those daily, weekly and monthly income goals.
Get Creative
So consider what you have to offer to customers. Get creative and pool together your skills, knowledge and resources to create product-offers that customers will buy.
Revenue vs. Profit
And remember, this income calculator calculates revenue, not profit. So even though I may intake $104,000, I may have my own costs, like hiring contractors and purchasing tools. Not to mention bills.
What are you selling?
As examples, I’ve written four different product-offers that I can price at various amounts.
If I want to make $285 in a day, I’ll sell one consultation at that price.
For $2,000 in a week, I’ll build my customer a website.
For $8,000 plus, I’ll sign them up for a monthly retainer in which I work with them throughout the month.
If I want to sell one thing for $104,000, I’ll package a nice big marketing campaign that adds up to that cost. This campaign may or may not take an entire year to complete, yet it would hit my annual goal of $104,000.
Can you handle this?
Being a six-figure earner is as simple as meeting these daily goals: (including weekends)
1 product-offer sold at $285
2 product-offers sold at $142 each
4 product-offers sold at $71 each
8 product-offers sold at $36 each
If you have any doubt, contact me and we’ll strategize how you can meet these goals and more!
