I’m looking for a video editor to work with on a consistent and frequent basis. Remote-work is fine.

I’ve launched a weekly series of YouTube videos. The videos are meant to educate and encourage founders and creators to do their best work and thrive in their careers and businesses. I’m looking for a video editor to take my basic talking-head footage and edit into engaging educational videos, as well as teaser short-form content. I will then post the short-form content to all social platforms.

I intend to publish one YouTube video and two/three Reels per week for an entire year. The purpose of this campaign is to grow my presence within the industry as a thought-leader and professional content creator, as well as to attract business and generate leads for my consulting firm and creative marketing agency.

How will this benefit you?

Since I don’t currently have a budget to pay a video editor (although I firmly believe in properly compensating creative talent,) I’m prepared to exchange value in the form of my services and my partnership. I have a lot to offer, including business development help, social media marketing guidance and online branding strategy. We can grow your brand and business at the same rate we grow mine.

Plus, once this content campaign of mine drives business to my company, I’ll be inclined to hire you in a paid capacity, once we have proper budgets from qualified clients. Meaning, I’m paying you as soon as I can. In the meantime, we’re grinding.

YouTube Concept

These two videos below are the pilot episodes of my new YouTube series. I filmed and edited them myself. I’m looking for a video editor who can take the editing into their own hands in order to bring a professional and creative touch to these productions. Each video is 3 - 5 minutes in length.

Reference Material

My video concepts are modeled after these YouTubers below. My new video editor would be tasked with taking my raw footage and editing into videos that flow and engage like these two videos below. Notice the engaging onscreen captions, effects, transitions and audio.

Short-Form Content

From each YouTube edit, my editor will repurpose two or three 30-second clips to create stand-alone vertical (9:16) videos. I will post these short-form videos to Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and more. We’ll work to hone our skill in creating viral content and posts that go far and reach wide audiences.
