At this point, I am the sole operator of MXI MEDIA, meaning I manage all tasks by myself. (I often contract professional videographers and editors for video work.)

YOUR ROLE WILL BE:

To help me manage all of these tasks and more

We have a lot of exciting work to do for many high-profile clients in the Entertainment and Music industries, including Tichina Arnold, Eric Benét and Toni Braxton.

mxi media clients

You will be responsible for helping me to:

  • plan and maintain social media schedules

    • you’ll research social media trends and platform developments, which we’ll leverage to grow our clients’ accounts

    • you’ll bring ideas to the table, which we’ll implement to accomplish our goals

  • create content according to our plans

    • you’ll accompany me to our clients’ events, including studio sessions, live performances and public appearances, where we’ll capture content (along with our contracted teams of photo/videographers)

    • you’ll sort through all the footage we have available in order to prepare content for social media posts

      • don’t worry about having advanced video-editing skills, I have a remote editor on-call for complex projects

  • publish posts directly to our clients’ accounts on all major social media platforms

    • I will provide for you a new iPhone 14 Pro Max, which belongs to MXI MEDIA and will be logged into all of our client accounts on every major social media platform

    • we will all sign NDAs and will be responsible for keeping our clients accounts safe and secure

COMPENSATION:

$3,000 per month

This will be your starting *training* salary. We will negotiate an increase after we’ve onboarded you and have proven you’re the right person for this long-term role.

Your first month will be mostly remote work (work-from-home.) We will be communicating via Zoom and phone calls to onboard you. We may meet in Los Angeles twice per week.

My investors and I are working on securing a creative office space near North Hollywood in the Spring of 2023. Then we will then begin meeting there regularly.

We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our digital marketing agency in Los Angeles, CA. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing social media campaigns for our clients in the entertainment and music industries. You will work closely with our creative team to develop engaging and innovative social media content that drives engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for our clients in the entertainment and music industries

  • Manage social media accounts across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok

  • Create and publish compelling and on-brand content that resonates with target audiences

  • Monitor social media trends and best practices to ensure content is relevant and timely

  • Use social media management tools to schedule posts and monitor engagement metrics

  • Analyze data to measure the success of social media campaigns and make recommendations for future improvements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, paid media, and account management

  • Manage social media ad campaigns to promote content and drive traffic and conversions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the entertainment or music industries

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends

  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for entertainment and music
